It is with immense pleasure that I am much honored to carry out the role as a President of ARZ Welfare Foundation. The undertaking of my position highlights the organization’s commitment to its stakeholders and transparency. It is also an opportunity for ARZ Welfare Foundation to inform people about its achievements and future plans.
ARZ Welfare Foundation has achieved outstanding results in its short Five year life span. It gained registration with the Enterprises and Investment Promotion Department under the Societies Act 1860, in November, 2011 and has been able to serve the deprived community on a broader platform.
The main aim of the organization is to serve the people of low caliber throughout the country, to provide them the basic necessities of life. The aim is to encourage them to be independent and full members of society. The organization also seeks to assist the primary care, food, shelter, health, women empowerment and self employment to the women through Micro Entrepreneurship Program.
The organization is currently in the process of developing a comprehensive program for women, a model in one district, which will address their needs and hopefully be replicated in other parts of the world.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Executive Committee, the management team and staffs who contributed greatly to the continuous growth and success of ARZ Welfare Foundation.
We look forward to a successful centenary. Let us draw lessons that will take this continent forward to one that is free from poverty and wars and in which every woman, man and child lives in freedom, dignity and prosperity.
I am also grateful to the various regulatory bodies such as the Social Welfare Ministry, Enterprises and Investment Promotion Department, government and non-government organizations and local and international donors for their support, which has contributed to the success of the organization.

The People ARZ Welfare Foundation was established by a group of kind hearted, God fearing and energetic people who were highly motivated and committed towards contributing their time, skills and energies to the development and empowerment of socially disadvantaged and vulnerable community of disabled persons in Pakistan.

ARZ Welfare Foundation. is a development organization. It’s a non-government, non-profit and non-sectarian, non-partisan organization working for social development of vulnerable and less developed people. It’s a human-centered NGO.
ARZ Welfare Foundation. could also be labeled as an organization which designs and implements various developmental projects with the financial and technical support of individual donors, corporate sector and semi-government organizations.

Legal Status
ARZ Welfare Foundation is a registered body. AWF is registered under “The Social Welfare ordinance 1860 of Government of Pakistan”.
Governance
ARZ Welfare Foundation is governed by its Board of Directors (BoD). The Board is the key policy making and governing body of the organization working independently. It formulates and approves policies, organizational systems and evaluates the overall performance of AWF on period basis. The BoD consists of nine members and is headed by its Chairman Muhammad Zeeshan Ali, The AWF’s board of directors comprises of retired judges, development professionals, academicians, activists and media persons. The Executive Director of AWF serves the board as the secretary.
Management
ARZ Welfare Foundation. is lead by its Executive Director who is the formal head of the organization. The Executive Director reports to the Chairman of the Board of Directors (BoD) and is responsible for the overall management of the organization.
The Executive Director is supported by the manager programs and team of coordinators / managers of different sections / programs of the foundation and they jointly form a management structure for the Foundation.
Partners
Partnerships are the heart-line of ARZ Welfare Foundation.. The organization refers as “PARTNERS” to all those individuals, communities, organizations and departments which join hands for extending program interventions. Beneficiary community, corporate sector organizations, semi-government organizations and other key stake holders from civil society are the best examples of AWF’s Partners. These partnerships help organization (financially and technically) to achieve its mission.
Since its establishment in 2011, ARZ Welfare Foundation has remained privileged in getting the opportunity to work with a number of diverse partners who not only extended financial support for its rehabilitation project but also helped adequately build the capacity of organization in different organizational matters.
Experience Portfolio
ARZ Welfare Foundation. is surviving for the rehabilitation of mentally retarded children since two of decades. It is very long period to do work on this noble cause. In this regard, ARZ Welfare Foundation. is operating its three campuses for the rehabilitation of mentally retarded children in Lahore, Murree and Muridkay respectively.

Human Resources
ARZ Welfare Foundation has a core team with various professional backgrounds such as management, finances and HR etc. In addition, ARZ Welfare Foundation. hires the project staff as per the requirements. The Foundation also engages volunteers and interns on need basis.
Review & Monitoring
Monitoring of projects in ARZ Welfare Foundation has always remained a vital part of management. There is always a built-in-mechanism of review and monitoring for all the projects AWF implements. The processes of review and monitoring help ARZ Welfare Foundation. in achieving the project objectives in smooth and timely manner. As the key mechanism of monitoring, the projects are monitored by the implementation teams, the coordinators / manager of the programs and the management of AWF.
Accounts & Audits
ARZ Welfare Foundation maintains all its accounts on double entry system. Foundation has developed various financial policies, systems and formats, which help it in effective management of all its funds and maintaining a complete transparency in receipts and payments at all levels.
ARZ Welfare Foundation gets its accounts (receipts and payments) audited by the recognized chartered accountant firms on the completion of projects or by the end of each financial year.
Vocational Trainings:
For this purpose a school for the education of these children has been opened in the local area of Shahdra to support these children and make them a better part of the society.
The Society has spared a thought for the many children in the local community having different disabilities; who cannot afford some of the basic necessities of school life. The Society is also keen to work for the local area women and trying to make these women sufficient enough to do something for their own. The society is following the great quotation

We are committed to the Millennium development goals. Our vision is to create a just, equal and peaceful society where everybody shares and cares for the poor, unprivileged and exploited people and make the world a better place to live in. Its priorities and objectives are to carry out charitable, holistic and sustainable development work among the poor, marginalized, downtrodden, illiterate and vulnerable and the exploited ones, irrespective of their caste, creed, color, sex or religion.
Plan of action
We intend to start this business for the welfare women to empower them at their door step. We realize that today women is more powerful and knows how to find out ways for their and theirs family development. Women living in backward areas cannot go outside for earning purpose. They need business and work at their doorstep which is convenient for them to run. Thus they can manage business and family at one time. That’s why we are taking this initiative to provide our women such facilities so that they are able to earn by themselves.
Our plan of business is starting the business of boutique. In this business we can design a whole strategy as per the convenience of our internal customers who we intend to progress. For this purpose of we have designed complete chain. Our range of products would be female dresses, bed sheets, blankets, curtains; in short we are going to offer complete range of products under one system.
We will buy cloth from our retailer at lower price than other retailers so that price does not get higher. Cloth would be provided to the women sitting at home for stitching purpose. For this step orders would be taken from boutiques. It will clear the business scenario and business target.
